Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited (TRIL) along with TIDCO, has established a sector specific special economic zone for an Information Technology & Information Technology Enabled Services (IT & ITES) and an integrated international Convention Centre in 25.27 acres of land at Taramani through a joint venture company viz., TRIL Infopark Ltd, at an estimated cost of Rs.4,213 crore.

The Company has constructed 4.6 million sq.ft space in six towers for IT-ITES which has been leased out and become operational. This IT Park is providing employment to 47,000 IT professionals and also indirect employment for over 5000 persons involved in day-to-day operations of the campus.
