Tamil Nadu is the only state in India to have all its districts covered under industrial corridor projects. TIDCO is the Nodal Agency for the development of Chennai Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC), Chennai Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor (CKIC), Kochi – Coimbatore – Bengaluru Industrial Corridor and Defence Industrial Corridor projects in Tamil Nadu. As the designated nodal agency, TIDCO coordinates industrial and infrastructural development activities in these corridors with different agencies of Government.
