Covering an area of 3000 acres of land this multi-product SEZ (Special Economic Zone) got developed at NH 45 at an estimated project cost of Rs. 827 crore in Perambalur.

Being a successful Joint venture of TIDCO and GVK Power and Infrastructure Ltd (GVPIL) this SEZ can hold an employability rate of 50000 people and have already received formal approval from the Department of Commerce.
